Joel’s Hand Building

Learn some new skills, have a lot of fun with this introductory class on creating with many different handbuilding techniques.

Students will experience the joy of getting a little messy while building skills to create by pinching, coinling and making slabs of clay. Students will also learn to impliment different surface designs and glazing techniques. Demonstrations include shaping and trimming pots and adding basic decorations. This class is appropriate for those with little to no experience with clay.

This class runs once a week for 8 weeks on Thursdays , beginning on March 28 and ending May 16

Building on the Basics - Intermediate Wheel

Joel is offering an 8 week Wheel class to build on the basic understandings learned in the beginning class. Expand your knowledge and start creating more complex forms, such as teapots, lidded jars, and other altered forms.
